What ever happened to "ARIEL SHARON"?

"He served as Prime Minister of Israel from March 2001 until April 2006, though the powers of his office were exercised by acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert following Sharon's mive stroke in January 2006. He fell into a coma, and has not regained consciousness."
