Theres a certain style of painting i like but dont know how describe it?

often quite exotic looking ladies, sometimes with a slightly blue/green hue to the picture, i keep thinking of carmen miranda style ladies....kind of stuff you expect to see in charity shops when theres a house clearence but ive not seen one yet!! if you know of an example on the net please let me have the link so i can start searching!!
