Should the option of euthanasia be extended to prisoners as an alternative to life in prison without parole?
If someone wants to commit suicide, I'm sure there not going to ask permission first. It is true that people are in prison because of the wrong they have done to others, but there sure do not learn any better there either. Perhaps if we focused more on rehabilitation rather than punishment prisoners, as we call them, could learn to adapt to life, learn to respect life, and even be allowed to be accepted for what they have done as long as they know it was wrong. I'm not saying they do not deserve to be punished, but the way the system is set up they only learn to get worse.
