Sewing I am wanting to learn how to make a 6 pocket Tote?

I want to learn how to make the purses that have 6 pockets and they are quilted YRS. ago & I mean like 26 I made a pair of pants in school,(Home Economics) I have made a basic set of curtains recently. I have a pattern but I am just not sure where to start & I want to be able to put a zipper in the purse.
