Is it hard to learn how to use the statistical program SPSS?

hi, i need to do ysis of survey data and found out that spss is the best program for that. is it hard to learn how to use this program? how long it should take to learn basic things for simple data ysing? and do you know any good sourse on the web? and last question maybe there is similar program, easier to use..? THANKS A LOT
