How to cook a turkey?

Ok, so I went online to search for recipes to cook a turkey, BUT OMG it's so complicated and so hard to understand, Please I beg you give me one of your best recipes, what kind of ingredients i should use, I have an stive oven, whats the best, bake or broil? um I dont want stuffing, Id like to stuff it with potatoes or carrots and apples, they say that best, am not sure, but please tell me how I should go about cooking it, temperature and how long it should take, Please...I have a 20 pound turkey, and I left the turkey thawing in the refrigerator as i heard is wrong to just leave it outside. but anyhow....suggestions, recipes, guide please...Thanks and try to be a little bit detailed, The sites are to complicated and give me ingredients i never heard of, idk, maybe is just me, but thanks. and Happy Thanksgiving.
